History:
Pachmarhi was discovered by Captain James Forsyth of the British Army in 1857. Because of its pleasant weather – which the British thought was a saving grace from the tropical temperatures of the rest of India – Pachmarhi soon became a hill station for British troops in the Central Provinces of India. Pachmarhi also served as the summer capital for the Central Provinces.
The weather is pleasant all year long in Pachmarhi. The best time to visit this beautiful hill station is any time between April to July and from October to February.
