This 5-meter or so tall ‘balance’ is located near the Vittala temple. Also called as Tula Bhara or Tula Purushadana.Kings Balance is actually the scaffolding of the balance. It is here that the king was weighed on his coronation or after a victory with gold or precious stones, which were then distributed to the brahmins or granted to a temple. The scaffolding faces the east and has a rough carving of the king and two queens being weighed.
