Gunhill is second highest point in Mussoorie. From Gunhill, Mussoorie appears to be changing colours every other minute. Each moment a different scene appears before your eyes. Gun Hills offers a bird's eye view of Mussoorie and the Doon Valley and also offers some spectacular views of the Himalayan peaks like the Bunderpunch and Srikantha. From midway along the Mall Road take the ropeway to the top of Gun Hill. The ropeway distance is 400 mts and the sheer thrill of the ride is memorable.

The best time to visit is before sunset. The whole atmosphere is carnival-like and you might enjoy having your pictures taken dressed up in Garhwali costumes
