| Wildernest Resort is located at 2500 ft above sea level overlooking the Swapnagandha valley, 27 kms off Sankhali (Goa - INDIA) at a distance of 40 kms from Thivim Railway Station and 65 kms (1 hour 15 minutes) from Panjim and 60 kms (2 hours) from Belgaum and about 80 kms from Dandeli. Swapnagandha Valley is located on the border of Maharashtra, Karnataka and Goa overlooking Three Magnificent Waterfalls at a distance and is surrounded 20 kms on either side by dense forest. Swapnagandha Valley is one of the few actively protected and managed eco-sensitive areas in India and is home of a variety of Flora and Fauna. Leopards, Wild Boar and Bisons are spotted in this region. However the region is known for being home to a variety of plants with medicinal value. Wildernest is also a delight for birding as there are 150 varieties of birds spotted there along with innumerable varieties of Moths, Butterflies, Spiders and other insects | |
